Christopher Chilcott; Here lieth the body of Christopher son of Christopher Chilcott Vicar (From 1692 to 1725) who died 1696? This was too sweet a babe for earth thus fate in paradise him in occulate, What heavenly joys at Gods right hand there be this blessed innocent is gone to see. We have lost in him Oh pitty our complaint, a hopeful child but hes gone to be a Saint. No more therefor of tears but cease to weep, he lies in Abrahams bosom let him sleep. Heer flavit pater |
